When it comes to my design, writing or fine art work, I am a detail person. It is important to me that everything I create be just right, down to the smallest detail, and that I deliver a final product that exceeds expectations. Advertisements
Easily my favorite kind of design project, my eye for detail allows me to create advertisements for print and digital use that are attractively laid out and clearly convey their intended message.
Newsletters
Following closely behind advertisements, newsletters are near the top of my list of favorite design work. I enjoy working on newsletters because they combine both my love of design as well as my appreciation for writing.
Brochures
Also near the top of my list of favorite design projects on which I work, brochures allow me to combine my eye for design detail with my skills in writing and copy editing so that the end result looks professional and reads well.
Other Graphic Design
I love just about any kind of design project and will happily work on whatever is needed including (but certainly not limited to!) business cards, flyers, banners, invitations, menus, signs, logos and invitations.
Writing and Copy Editing
My love of reading and the written word has been with me most of my life. As a writer and copy editor, I especially enjoy taking a client’s rough list of concepts or important points and creating professionally written news releases, letters, articles or whatever else is needed.
Karis \k(a)-ris\ Of Greek origin with the meaning of "grace", the name of my fine art and design studio is pronounced KARE-iss. Chosen in memory of my first endurance horse, a purebred Arabian named "Karis Conquest", Karis is the perfect name for my art studio as much of my fine artwork features the most graceful of animals, the horse. Synonymous with grace, refinement characterizes my designs so that my work is always professional and finely detailed.
